Hi there! I’m Lauren, aka Inkmachinebarbie 😇

I moved to North Carolina in 2020, originally from the western suburbs of Chicago, and it’s been a dream ever since! When I’m not tattooing, I’m hanging out with my army of pets, catching up on some anime, or drawing for what’s to come. Hello Kitty and Dragon Ball Z collections have practically taken over my house, and I’m always ready to talk about my favorite movies, Hunter X Hunter, or My Chemical Romance. My tattoo studio is a great extension of my love for all things pop culture and I take a lot of pride in making the space as safe and comforting as possible for everyone that enters  💗 

Artistically, I love everything sparkly, cute, colorful; as well as everything dark, creepy, crawly. I always have extra fun with manga panels, Sanrio, Studio Ghibli, 90s/2000s aesthetics, and anything cartoon or movie related.
