Scaredy Rat Tattoo is a private studio located in Waxhaw, North Carolina, approximately 45 minutes south of Charlotte and less than 3 miles from the Jaars-Townsend Airport. Our studio is nestled in a rural area, just past downtown Waxhaw. You might even spot a few chickens on your way in!

Guest Parking: While additional guests are welcome, please note that our grass parking lot can only accommodate 2-3 vehicles.
Important Entrance and Parking Details:
Our entrance is off Davis Road. You’ll see signs with our studio’s logo indicating where to park, located across from Baraka Place.
- Look for the yellow flag.
- GPS Alert: Please be aware that our entrance is not an official road, so don’t turn where your GPS suggests. Instead, follow these directions:
- If coming from the Jaars area: Our entrance sign will be on the right, approximately 300 feet before your GPS indicates.
- If coming from Lancaster Highway: Our sign will be on the left, approximately 300 feet after your GPS indicates.
- Upon Parking:
- Follow the parking signs to position your vehicle.
- You’ll see a wood path leading up to the shop, follow the path.
Arrival Time:
Please do not arrive more than 15 minutes early to your appointment to avoid parking complications.
